Albert Frey
Upon reclocating to Los Angeles from New York, I was intrigued by the post modern architecture, specifically the Case Study program fostering exploration of low cost housing to meet the post war demand. While hardly an architectural historian I met with Albert in Palm Springs multiple times, researched his archive and applied for grant funding. The book was published by Princeton Architectural Press, distributed by Chronicle, awarded the prestigious Graham Foundation grant and was generously received by the press. Albert was greatly appreciative of having his monograph published. He passed away three weeks later at home at the age of 95.
